Who is Eligible
Local government agencies, private and public operators of public transportation, nonprofits, and tribal governments.
What it Funds
Projects and programs that expand mobility options for seniors and individuals with disabilities such as the purchase of accessible vans and buses, passenger facilities and support equipment, coordinated volunteer driver programs, shopping shuttle services, non-emergency medical trips, and transit travel training classes in San Diego County.
When to Apply
Applications are accepted every two years with a 90-day application window. The most recent application window (Cycle 12) closed on October 5, 2022.
Available Funds
$7.9 million is available in the current funding cycle (Cycle 12). Grants range $30,000-$200,000 per year with a total grant amount equal to or less than $500,000.
