What it Funds

Projects that bring nature to urban areas through one or more of the following categories: environmental stewardship and restoration; parks, trails, and public access; environmental education; urban agriculture/food systems.

When to Apply

Pre-Applications for Program and Capital/Planning projects are currently being accepted with a deadline of November 8, 2022, at 5:00 pm. Complete applications for Program are due February 9, 2023, at 5:00 pm. Complete applications for Capital/Planning are due February 23, 2023, at 5:00 pm.

Available Funds

$1.5 million is available in the current funding cycle (2022). $750,000 is available for Programs with awards ranging from $20,000 – $100,000. $750,000 is available for Capital and Planning Grants, with awards ranging from $40,000 – $250,000.
