Nonpoint Source Pollution (NPS) Control Program – California Department of Water Resources
Who is Eligible
Public agencies, nonprofits, federally recognized Native American Tribes, state agencies, public colleges, federal agencies.
What it Funds
Develop and/or implement management measures for nonpoint source pollutants for bodies of water in the North Coast region, which include Elk River, Scott River, Shasta River, Estero San Antonio Hydrologic Area, and Eel River (refer to Section E of the program guidelines on pages 24-25).
When to Apply
The most recent application period closed in December 2020.
Available Funds
$5 million. Individual grants range from $250,000 – $800,000. Planning grants range from $80,000 – $200,000.
